Hi Guys,
Welcome back to my blog, today I will be talking about the vision of my game and what I want it to look like when I have completed this assignment.
In my game I want to to be real life, as in you create as many characters as you want and create the life they are going to live. You can create their personality, control their behavior, build their friendship and relationships with other characters that you have created.
This game is not about winning really, its more how the player can develop their characters to the way they want. They can build houses, the houses everyone imagines that they would like to live in.
This game will take place in their own virtual land much like the sims in like.
When I looked up different things on google I came across this link https://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Make-a-Virtual-Reality-Game-for-Beginners/ which helped me understand what it is going to take to make this virtual world on unity. By reading and listening to some the tutorials it became clear that I can create anything I want to create and that there isn't actually a rule book to the way that this game will look like or how it will be run which makes me quite excited. Yes I am not great at the coding part of unity but if I keep trying I will get there in the end.
Hope you enjoyed reading my blog.

Hi Liz!
ReplyDeleteUsing the WOW method, I am going to comment on your game. I thought it was really cool how you can create your own personality on it as you can make a person be whatever you want them to be both physically and personality wise. The fact that you choose the life they live and go by is a really cool addition the the game! I think it is really cool but I dont understand how it will follow through properly if it is you that makes their decisions or do they do their own thing?? Sorry just didnt really understand that. A suggestion I have would be to maybe have a goal, not something to win but something that they work up to? That would be cool!
All in all really cool game I think it is done really well and you have definiately done your research about it, hope it goes well!
